Sheffield Hallam University


In 2014, BAC partnered with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), a UK based institution. Sheffield Hallam University has been in existence since 1843. It is interesting to know that SHU is described as one of the UK's most progressive and innovative universities with a vibrant and diverse student population of over 4,000 international students from more than 100 countries. Sheffield Business School has a Palm 3 Ranking with the University ranked number 65 on the UK League in 2013. By partnering with SHU, BAC has not only created value for the students through prominent international qualifications. This partnership has brought international experience to our programmes, thereby enhancing the curriculum offerings and opportunities for expanding our research portfolio.

The BAC School of Business and Leisure has therefore collaborated with the Sheffield Business School on the following programmes:

BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BA (Hons) Business Management, BA (Hons) International Finance & Banking, BA (Hons) Entrepreneurship and Business Leadership, Master of Business Administration, Master of Procurement and Logistics Management.

University of Sunderland


The UK based University of Sunderland is known for being an innovative, accessible and inspirational university. University of Sunderland has been providing high standard of tertiary education since 1901, with international footprint outside the UK in China and Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, parts of Africa and Greece.

The University prides itself with a 20% international student population, thus encouraging diversity.

Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA)


Botswana Qualifications Authority is a tertiary education regulatory body whose mandate is:

To provide for and maintain the National Credit and Qualifications Framework (NCQF). To coordinate the education, training and skills development quality assurance system. All our lecturers are quality assured by BQA through regular audits and by our international partners with whom our academic staff are accredited.

In 2014, Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in an effort to provide business solutions to clients who are currently being incubated by LEA. The memorandum of understanding is aimed at developing future business leaders by working with key industry players, such as LEA, to provide a base of mentorship and support. Joining forces with LEA provided a mutually beneficial platform in which our students continue to benefit from acquiring the necessary skills to succeed outside the classroom
