Outstanding performance at CUCSA games.

Eight BAC students that were part of the Botswana Tertiary Students Sports Association (BOTESSA) team, participated at the Confederation of University and College Sports Association (CUCSA) games in Malawi; and posted outstanding performance that saw Botswana finishing in second position behind South Africa.

Botswana won a total of 23 medals (seven gold, eight silver and eight bronze), 9 of which were by BAC students (1 Gold, 3 Silver, 5 Bronze) from athletics, tennis, netball, and football.

The 2022 CUCSA Games were hosted from 28 th August – 3 rd September 2022 in Lilongwe, Malawi and featured six Southern African nations, including Botswana, Angola, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Malawi, and Zambia. The games included athletics, basketball, football, netball, chess, tennis, and volleyball.
