BAC &UN BOTSWANA JOINT SENSITIZATION CAMPAIGN ON (SDGs)

BAC through the School of Finance and Professional Studies (SFPS) Research and Innovation Committee in collaboration with United Nations in Botswana hosted a workshop on 8 th May 2023 in Gaborone.

The workshop aimed at promoting awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) amongst the BAC Community, turned out to be a townhall discussion among the attendees, which included the Resident Coordinator of UN Botswana, Mr Zia Choudhury who was accompanied by four (4) other UN delegates, the BAC Head of OSIP, Ms Veronica Mphathi, academic staff and students.

Additional Information

The focus of the workshop was on five (5) select SDG’s which consists of: Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities and Climate Action.

BAC pledges to continue working closely with United Nations in Botswana to enhance youth’s knowledge on the 2030 Agenda, SDG’s and promote their engagement in dialogues on SDG’s implementation in Botswana.
