Over the last 7 years, I developed a fond passion for financial technology and its potential to completely eradicate financial xclusion in the African continent.
Despite the creation of various applications and systems addressing financial xclusion; majority of them are not complex enough to aid African entrepreneurs with the step by step processes of improving their business from a financial standpoi t. Therefore, I have made it my life’s purpose to equip myself with the knowledge, tools and team that can propel me towards creating financial technology that can help my fellow Africans achieve their financial goals.
Thus all the steps I have taken since then including studying BA (Hons) International Finance and Banking, working closely with advanced technology fi ms and establishing close relationships with esteemed financial services professionals have been aligned directly towards my life’s’ purpose.
I was fortunate enough to know and understand my life’s purpose from a very young age. Therefore, coming into the course I was overwhelmed with curiosity and studied vigorously to satisfy my deep rooted hunger to create financial solutions. This eagerness to learn led me to studying beyond our school curriculum and made me a permanent resident in all my lecturers’ offices. n hindsight, I can attest that loving what I did, humbling myself to my lecturers and leaving all to God allowed me focus on understanding the content rather than studying to pass thus clearly separating me from the pack. Oh, and I would never have been able to achieve this accolade without my village of mentors, family and classmates – they made this strenuous journey bearable!
I’ve always been fascinated by the way the financial world works and therefore being recognized for professing my love by learning it thoroughly is an honor greater than I can comprehend! I’m deeply grateful, and ecstatic for this accolade and I dedicate it to my village of mentors, family and classmates!!!
