BSc (Hons) Network Computing

The programme aims to equip students with the necessary skills to enable them to build, configure connected devices, manage and troubleshoot a network infrastructure for a small to medium-sized network. The programme aims to provide a course of study designed for students wishing to enter the computingindustry in the area of networking, Graduates on completion are expected to be able to conceptualise, design and deploy networks on any scale. As they complete they begin as technical experts, with appropriate knowledge and skills in network configuration, administration and virtualisation with additional knowledge of software development.

 

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have passed Form 5, BGCSE / IGCSE or equivalent, in a minimum of 6 Subjects, including Mathematics and English Language. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of a pass (C) in Mathematics and English.

Duration and Mode Study

The duration of the programme shall be four years. Each academic year or level shall include two semesters. Progression will be dependent on successful completion of courses taken during the semesters.
